Bio:  Joie has been a fierce competitor on the hunter/jumper circuit since childhood. She has traveled the world donning her red US Team jacket several times and competing at the highest levels of the show jumping sport. Today Joie, alongside her husband, owns and operates Joie Gatlin - Morley Abey Show Jumping in San Juan Capistrano, CA, and remains an active competitor on the Grand Prix circuit.





Name:  Chara Harris -

Discipline:  Professional Beach Volleyball 

Location:  Sarasota, FL 

Bio:  I am a top ten professional beach volleyball player on the National Volleyball League (NVL) and an IB Biology teacher based out of Sarasota, Florida. I have been playing professional beach volleyball since 2006 on the AVP and NVL. For the past 4 years, I have been ranked top ten in the country and have finished as high as 2nd in the NVL championships, 2015. Throughout the year, I teach Biology and train/travel across the country to play on the various tour stops for beach volleyball.



Name:  Lauren Knopp-

Discipline:  Dressage

Location:  Wellington, FL

Bio:  USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist, 2009 NAJYRC Team and Individual Silver Medalist, 2009 National Reserve Junior Champion, third place in the Brentina Cup/U-25 program in 2014. Now a professional, Lauren focuses on training horses of all levels, and specializes in the development of Junior/Young riders and also Adult Amateurs. 





Name:  Bobby and Danica Meyerhoff -

Discipline:  Eventing, Show Jumping

Location:  Statesville NC

Bio:  Bobby and Danica Meyerhoff own and operate Meyerhoff Show Horses out of North Carolina, where they produce and train young horses through the top levels of both eventing and show jumping. Bobby has ridden successfully through the four-star level of eventing, including multiple appearances at the Rolex Kentucky CCI4*, while Danica is a top competitor in show jumping, having been named multiple times to the Canadian High Performance Lists. 




Name:  Matt Brown and Cecily Clark -

Discipline:  Eventing

Location:  Cochranville PA

Bio:  Husband and wife team Matt Brown and Cecily Clark run a full-service eventing training facility where they emphasize a systematic and individualized approach to each horse and rider in order to develop a strong and successful partnership built on clear communication, solid basics, and compassionate horsemanship. Matt also competes at the top levels of eventing, having represented the United States on the international stage as a member of the US Nations Cup team and as an alternate for the 2015 Pan American Games and 2016 Rio Olympic Games US Eventing Teams. 





Name: Tracey Hill -


Location: Martinez CA

Bio:  Having trained under multiple Olympians and top professionals across the United States and Germany including Steffen Peters, Tracey has earned her USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals all on horses that she produced through the levels herself, and her competitive accolades include 1st place in the CDS Prix St. Georges Championship, Markel High Point FEI Champion, and USDF Grand Prix Reserve Champion. Tracey is based out of Wyvern Farm in California, where in addition to competing, she has trained dozens of riders to regional and national championships and medals.




Name:  Ari Lopez -

Discipline:  Dressage

Location:  Vacaville, CA

Bio:  Ari started riding when she was 9 years old and has earned her USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medals as well as the Silver and Gold Freestyle Bars. he has won many USDF and CDS Championships and has competed twice at the NAJYRC winning Individual Silver and team Bronze, placed 5th at the USEF National Young Rider Championships and was top 10 at the USEF FEI 5 year old championships. In addition to dressage Ari has competed in Three Day Eventing and "A" circuit Hunters and Jumpers. 




Name:  Shannon Dahmer -

Discipline:  Dressage

Location: Parker, CO

Bio:  I have earned all my USDF bronze-silver-gold medals and my bronze-silver-gold freestyle bars too. I have trained many horses to the Grand Prix level. I train out of the Colorado Horse Park in Parker, CO




Name:  Cassandra Hummert-Johnson -

Location:  Northeast Ohio

Bio:  USDF Gold medalist and veteran of the junior, young rider, and U-25 programs, Cassandra now focuses on teaching and riding horses of all levels, and helping her students reach their goals and find success in the dressage ring.

Bio:  She is currently showing in the junior jumpers (anywhere from 1.20-1.45m) with her string of horses.

Bio:   A consistent figure in the FEI ring of Dressage. I am a Gold and Silver medalist for the US in the 2007 Pan American Games. 




Name:  Bert (Roberta) Sheffield -

Discipline:  Para Equestrian Dressage

Location:  Lincolnshire UK

Bio:  Canadian Paralympic team member working hard towards the 2018 WEG in Tyron and Tokyo 2020. My horses are my life, I love building a partnership with my horses and seeing their personalities develop. Being based in the UK, I live in the Kastel Denmark merino wool base layers 90% of the time. So soft and warm under all my wet weather gear while riding and working in the barn!

Bio:  Leif and his wife Marissa own and operate Paradigm Dressage located in Wellington, Florida. Leif enjoys being able to live at their barn, where he can spend time with his wife and three children, along with, of course being able to ride, train and coach. 




Name:  Ariana Chia -

Location:  Wellington, FL

Bio:  I have been competing since I was 8 years old, in both dressage, hunters, and jumpers. At 16 I decided to switch permanently to dressage and began pursuing my dreams of going to NAJYRC. I went on to make the team 3 times on 3 different horses, first in 2008, then in 2010, and lastly in 2012. My sights are now set on making a major team such as WEG, Pan Ams, and eventually the Olympics. I just earned my USDF gold medal this year and had a few top 8 placings internationally on my new Grand Prix horse I have been with for just 2 months.

Bio:  Mary Bahniuk Lauritsen is an accomplished USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalist FEI rider and trainer. From Young Horses to FEI Young Rider students, Mary has many successful years under her belt both in her own show success and her students' at Millennium Dressage.

Bio: Lucia is a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist, and has also earned the USDF Bronze Bar for Freestyle. She is currently the head trainer at CreekSide Equestrian in Yucaipa, California, where she offers dressage training and horse riding lessons to all levels of riders.

Bio:  I am a dedicated rider and member of the United States 2016 Paralympic Dressage team as well as the 2014 Para-dressage Team for the 2014 World Equestrian Game (WEG).  I am continuing my training with the goal of making the 2018 WEG and the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics!

Bio:  Jenny Caras is an international three-day rider and one of the United States’ most promising young professionals in the industry, having been named for five consecutive years to the USEF Eventing 25 training list in recognition of her consistent top performances through the three-star level. She currently works and trains her talented string of horses under the tutelage of Olympic bronze medalist Phillip Dutton.
